ROY R. MORRIS earned his B.A. degree with honors from The College of William and Mary in 1973, his J.D. degree from Georgetown University in 1976 and his Master of Laws (Taxation) from The George Washington University in 1980.
Mr. Morris heads the firm's general business representation practice. As corporate counsel, he advises on business formation and organization, tax planning, debt and equity financing and mergers and acquisitions, as well as legal aspects of ongoing business operations. Working with executives and shareholders of successful businesses, he develops and implements strategies for executive compensation, business succession and wealth transfer.
Mr. Morris is admitted to the Virginia State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar and the Maryland State Bar.
Mr. Morris holds the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell.
